Breguet "Deux ponts" BR763 Provence and BR765 Sahara.
The Breguet panel has some unusual functions :
* Engine start *
--------------
In addition to the usual controls (magnetos, stat, primer etc... in the upper central panel) the Breguet had a "Vibrator", designed to supplement the ignition system at start-up.
If the vibrator is on "OFF", no manual startup of engines is possible, follow the check-list.
Quickly turn on a generator in order to avoid draining the battery.
* Auto-pilot *

It has two main operation modes, standard and realistic, controlled by the "AP Mode" switch at the bottom of the pedestal.
By default, the standard mode is selected (switch on STD) and the usual FS auto-pilot panel is used (for beginners ;o) ).
Selecting the Realistic mode (switch on REALISTE), the operation of the AP is closer to the actual Breguet :
Stabilisation at reached flight level, follow-on heading (HDG), follow-on VOR (NAV).
Climb, descent, and ILS approach are manual, no APR nor VS modes.
In all cases, to have the AP operating, the following is required :
- 115 VAC power supply, inverters on positions 1 or 2 on the electrical panel,
- one AP compressor "ON" on the top-right panel,
- AP-gyro "ON" on the pedestal,
- the 3 pneumatic clutching levers for AP "ON" on the pedestal.
The Breguet flight controls are direct, by cable or torsion tube, so the required pneumatic clutch to link the AP to the flight controls.
* HYDRAULICS *

To increase the lifespan of the hydraulic pressure adjustment valves (on the actual plane ;o) ), a hydraulic by-pass is installed on the Pedestal.
At engine start-up, the hydraulic by-pass in on position "LEVE" and the hydraulic pressure is available for the landing gear, the flaps and the brakes.
After take-off, landing gears and flaps up, the hydraulic by-pass is normally lowered - no more hydraulic pressure.
Do not forget to lift the hydraulic by-pass again during approach, otherwise landing gear and flaps will be inoperative.
